Patton since 1966 when I went in the Army and was Stationed at Fort Knox Ky. I visited the Patton Museum at that time, since it has been up graded to the stars. Mr. D'Este has written many books I apologize that I have not read the noted on this web site. I plan to purchase the book. Patton was not well liked because of his idea of once started keep the war moving to keep the enemy from digging in. None of the top generals liked the idea that he knew more then them.
