    • I also believe that as the Blue Book value of the car increases, the prtbibalioy that the driver is driving poorly to draw attention to the fact that he – my theory mostly holds true in the case of men – owns a very expensive car and, in turn, the road, increases.

  17. My favorite ancient war movie is Troy (2004). I know its generally not well liked, but I thought it was a modern and visceral take on a more realistic (less fantastic) version of warfare unlike anything else.

    • “Plague, Fear, and Politics in San Francisco’s Chinatown”, by Guenter Risse. It’s about bubonic plague in turn of the century (er, turn of the 19th into the 20th) Frisco, and the outrageous bigotry that accompanied it.

    • About “when you ship a DDS you may see no VRAM savings and no FPS ch28ne&#g2a1;, I’m working with a (photographic) scenery with normals maps. I tested normals both in PNG and DDS and in DDS sim is usable but in PNG simulator runs out of memory (crashes). So… I don’t lnow about VRAM (you say is the same) but DDS textures saves (a lot of) RAM, against PNG.
