The four vehicles you see here were all on temporary loan from the Aldershot Museum, but it’s nice to see them again regardless.
The vehicle on the left is known as a Combat Reconnaissance Vehicle (Tracked) or CVR(T) for short. A Multi-role vehicle, the design has been in use for over 30 years in many forms, as ambulance, tank destroyer and even command vehicle. With its small size and quiet running, it’s the perfect vehicle for sneaking up on the enemy and reporting what they are up to…
It was only whilst I was walking past this truck that I realised it was occupied with two somewhat nefarious looking characters. I began to feel rather uneasy and sidled off to take some more pictures…
And then, as I came across this truck in the right hand picture, I could not escape the feeling that someone or something was watching me…
And then I saw the "crew" of the truck. Now, I don’t want to be a scaremonger, but two sets of cuddly toys in two separate vehicles cannot be a coincidence – and I have a deep fear that we could be taken over at any moment… You heard it here first.
