8th Annual Custer Week, Monroe County MI

Come to St. Mary’s Park and meet Sitting Bull’s Great Grandson, Ernie LaPointe and Foremost Custer Living Historian Steve Alexander. See the 5th Michigan Band, Reenactors, Tours of the Custer Plot at Historic Woodland Cemetary and family friends of the 1800′s. For information call 734.240.7780.

Visit the Monroe County Historical Museum Custer Exhibit & Sitting Bull Pictorgraphs exhibit, the beautiful Custer Monument and more that a dozen other Custer sites throughout the community. Visit the Frost Custer Collection at the Monroe County Library System Dorsch Branch in Downtown Monroe. Other activities including the Annual Custer’s 1st Run organized by the Monroe Miler’s. All dedicated to the memory of General George Armstrong Custer and his family.
