50 Free Turns of Making History II

By Gerald D. Swick | PC Game Reviews |  Published: July 28, 2010 at 6:06 pm

Generally, we don’t post game-company media releases on ACG‘s main page. Frankly, we wouldn’t have time to post anything else if we did—you should see my email inbox every day. But freebies . . . well, that’s something we like to let readers know about.

Muzzy Lane debuted a demo of Making History II: The War of the World (MHII) that gives gamers 50 turns free of charge, which can be downloaded here.

That info was included in a media release they sent out about a new Loyalty Program built around the game. Owners who register by Sunday, August 15, 2010, on Making History Gaming Headquarters get two "Loyalty Rewards," a free copy of Making History: The Calm and the Storm Gold Edition and an extra product key for MHII per registration that will let you play with a friend when the beta of the multiplayer goes online August 20.

A report on MHII by ACG reviewer Larry Levandowski, who furnished the screenshot above, will be appearing here soon.

The initial release of the game was rocky, but it has come a long way since release a month ago. We just released 1.0.13 yesterday, which also updates the demo.
